Head Coach, Founder of RunVerity and Former PE Hater
Verity is an experienced UK Athletics Endurance Coach, with 25 years running experience and 10 marathons under her belt.
Hi, I’m Verity Wright – founder of RunVerity, running coach, and confidence-builder for real-life runners.
Since 2014, I’ve helped hundreds of people — from total beginners to rusty returners — learn how to run safely, steadily, and sustainably.
With a background in psychology, years of coaching experience, and lived insight as a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, I understand the barriers that stop people from getting started — and the mindset shifts that keep them going.
Whether you're joining a local session in Whiteley or following one of my digital coaching plans, you'll be supported to run in a way that fits your life, your body, and your brain.
This isn’t about pace or perfection. It’s about building confidence, showing up, and sticking with running for life.
“I realised there was a need for quality running coaching, for people who felt nervous about sport…
I didn’t want to push people out of their comfort zone when first starting to run, I wanted to create a safe and supportive environment where people wanted to just do what they felt comfortable with but who also had goals to achieve. I wanted to focus on teaching people the right technical skills needed to develop so that they didn’t just become runners, they became athletes, learning the same set of skills that top sportspeople do but at grassroots level.
Our aim is to build confidence in your ability so that you can achieve your goals because we offer a safe, supportive and caring environment where you can progress at your level, where achievement for you may be just getting out of the car to attend a session or it might be running a personal best. We place equal worth and energy in each client’s goals.”
