*Coaching Exclusivity

The RunVerity coaching methods have been built on 25 years of running, higher education and coaching experience. Whilst they may not be unique, they are person-centred with training plans, advice and support based on this at the forefront of my mind. This will always be the case, and the RV team will be consistent in the delivery of this. By adopting this approach, we ensure consistency and alignment in both training and in achieving your running goals. The relationship between a coach and an athlete is one that is built on trust, having more than one running coach could undermine this unique relationship leading ultimately to overtraining, undertraining or ineffective training.

This conflict could threaten the progress of you as a runner and weaken our holistic person-centred approach; your well-being is always at the forefront of any training plan or running goal. If you are unsure whether there is a conflict, please seek advice from the Head Coach at RunVerity.

RunVerity Values

The ethos of RunVerity is to strive to create a safe and inclusive community for individuals to run in and be part of. We continue to foster an environment where people feel respected, valued, and supported without fear of judgment; we prioritise self-worth, promote inclusivity and diversity ensuring that every member feels represented and accepted thus creating an environment where individuals feel psychologically safe and respected.

How do we do this?

Creating a physical and psychologically safe community involves continuous effort and commitment from all our members,

  • We establish a welcoming atmosphere by offering a wide range of sessions that are open to runners of all abilities.

  • We run together as a group, using the looping back system to keep everyone together regardless of pace.

  • We work hard to foster an inclusive environment by welcoming all runners of all abilities.

  •  We promote diversity and encourage all abilities to be able to run together anywhere, off road, on pavements, or in the park, or in the dark and in races that were deemed "unachievable".

  • We promote an inclusive environment by respecting every member as an individual, regardless of pace, shape, gender, size, background, any individual who runs is a runner and is seen as the norm.

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or any form of exclusionary behaviour so that all members feel respected, valued, and supported.

  • We cultivate open communication and encourage honest dialogue and have a clear, structured safeguarding policy in place.
